Welcome to Wake Green Surgery
Wake Green Surgery has been serving the people of Moseley and surrounding areas for over 50 years.
We strive to deliver the highest standard of care by building strong working relationships with our patients, their families, carers and the wider community. We will provide safe, effective, patient-centered services which are responsive and considerate.
We currently have flu vaccinations for patients 65 and over only. Please call to book or come to our walk-in clinic on Wed 16 October between 1 and 3pm.
We expect to receive our vaccinations for under 65s in the next week or two.
Evening and Weekend Appointments Available
From 1 October 2018 Wake Green Surgery will be able to offer extended access to appointments at our local Extended Access Hub, which is based at Yardley Wood Medical Centre. There will be evening and weekend appointments available for patients registered at several local practices. The appointments are with a range of clinicians including GPs, nurses and HCAs.
You will be able to book these appointments via Wake Green Surgery.

Gabapentin & Pregabalin
From April 1 2019, Gabapentin and Pregabalin will be classified as Schedule 3 controlled drugs under the Misuse Drugs Regulations 2001, and Class C of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. These medications can therefore, no longer be sent electronically to your pharmacy and you will need to collect your prescription from the surgery. We have had to take the necessary steps to facilitate this change with immediate effect due to clinical system updates.
National Diabetes Audit
This GP practice is taking part in an important national project about diabetes care and treatment in the NHS. The project is called the National Diabetes Audit (NDA). To take part, your GP practice will share information about your diabetes care and treatment with the NDA. The type of information, and how it is shared, is controlled by law and enforced by strict rules of confidentiality and security.
For further information about how your information is used please see the NDA patient information leaflet.
Taking part in the NDA shows that this GP practice is committed to improving care for people with diabetes.
If you do not want your information to be used, please inform the receptionist, your GP or nurse. This will not affect your care.
As of the First of May we are taking on new patients. Please come into the surgery to pick up a registration form.
